DIY Pumpkin Cauldron Hack for Your Diffuser

Posted on September 27, 2021October 8, 2023

I’m always on the hunt for fun ways to add WHIM to the everyday. As I scrolled through social media I came across an adorable post with a Halloween Trick I just had to try. I love how something so simple can add so much magic to the room. I’m sharing how I made a DIY Pumpkin Cauldron Hack for my Diffuser this Fall.

Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase. I’m always so thankful when you make purchases through links of our favorite things as it helps support our family.

What you need for your DIY Pumpkin Cauldron:

  • Metal Pumpkin / Jack O Lantern
  • Drill
  • Essential Oil Diffuser

Take your Metal Pumpkin and drill a hole in the back. This is where the cord for your diffuser will go. Drop your diffuser into your Pumpkin Cauldron. Add some yummy Fall Scented Oils to your diffuser and turn on. Watch the magic! I love the flickering light shining through the Jack O Lantern face and the mist flowing out the top. Such a fun way to “hide” your diffuser and be festive.

Have you Made the Switch to Oils?

If you have been thinking about trying essential oils, Fall is the PERFECT time to start. Did you know that scented candles are full of toxic chemicals? When you burn a candle, you are filling your room with chemicals, and studies have shown that exposure to particles from burning candles caused greater damage than the same dose of diesel exhaust fumes! Totally not worth burning another candle in the home. Not to mention the fire hazard.

I love how I can change up my scents every day when using oils. I don’t have to worry about an open flame in the home. Plus, my oils can be used for so much more than just making my home smell like a pumpkin spice latte or Anthropologie. It’s a wellness and clean living lifestyle that has totally changed our lives.
