Hot Cocoa and Cookie Treat Board | How to Make a Holiday Surprise

Posted on December 17, 2021October 8, 2023

Nothing sounds more like Christmas than Hot Cocoa and Cookies. After all, that is what Santa loves to snack on! I decided to surprise the kids one afternoon with a fun treat board to get us in the Holiday spirit. I took my Christmas Tree Tray and filled it with all kinds of yummy treats. Here is how I put this Hot Cocoa and Cookie Treat Board together.

What was on our Hot Cocoa and Cookie Treat Board

  • Christmas Button Cookies
  • Marshmallows
  • Peppermint Sticks
  • Holiday Shortbread Cookies
  • Toasted Marshmallow Milano Cookies

Of course we couldn’t have only treats. We needed something yummy to wash it down. So I made hot cocoa and put it in our Holiday Mugs. The girls were tickled when I served them the mini Santa Clause mugs I found at Hobby Lobby. They thought that was so cute and had fun sipping their hot chocolate from them.

I loved the idea of a Hot Cocoa and Cookie treat board. It’s perfect for a Holiday gathering or a Family Movie Night. You could even make this and then drive around to see Christmas lights. Such a fun way to add Christmas WHIM to your evening.

I love everything! Where did you get your table runner that’s under the platter?

I got the table runner from Target 2 years ago! It’s one of my absolute favorites!
