Spring Fever | 5 Ways to get Spring Ready

Posted on March 5, 2022March 21, 2022

I am so ready for Spring. But I know that it is still too early to start planting our garden and pulling out the shorts and sandals. Here are 5 Ways to get Spring Ready if you are anxious to get to Spring but have to wait for Mother Nature to cooperate.

Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.

1. Change your Decor Around

After the Winter Holidays it always feels like the home is an empty shell. Use this opportunity to look at it as a blank canvas. Now is the time to “Spring” things up a bit. Have fun moving around artwork or changing the furniture around in the space. This simple way to freshen up the space will make your room come alive again!

2. Plan your outdoor space

After Valentine’s Day I am always itching to do all the Spring things. But living in Colorado, we know to expect Snow all the way up to Mother’s Day. You can still get into the early spring fun by planning out your outdoor space. New Rug? New Planters? Start collecting these things now so when warm weather is here to stay you can strike with an outdoor space ready to entertain!

3. Plan for the spring fun

There are so many fun Spring activities. From planting a garden to Mother’s Day and Easter festivities there is much you can plan. This year I am hosting a Make and Take Party where a group of friends will get together and make Spring Cleaning DIYS!

4. Clean out your fridge

It is amazing how a cleaned-out fridge can make you enjoy time in your kitchen again. Or is that adulting at a whole new level? My tip for cleaning out your fridge: Pull everything out, wipe all the shelves clean and organize with these amazing, stackable containers. These berry bins have made my life so much easier.

P.S. While you are at it… this is your friendly reminder to clean your oven! We just did this the other day and I enjoy using it SO MUCH MORE!

5. Love on Your Plant Babies

Before you can set your plants outside to get sunshine, you can start them indoors. Give your new plant babies a cute home and set them around your house until they are ready for sun. This will green up your rooms while satisfying your Spring planting itch in this early part of the season.

P.S. While you are setting your plants around your house, make sure you are setting up your diffusers with some fun, fresh diffuser blends! Northern Lights Black Spruce + Lushious Lemon are a pair you HAVE to try! CLICK HERE to grab this dreamy Aria Diffuser and the Young Living Starter Kit!
