The Best Holiday Books for Kids Nook | Kid’s Favorites for The Christmas Season

Posted on November 11, 2021October 8, 2023

We love reading to the kids, it something we do every single night. I have a lot of fun decorating the girl’s new book nook each season with our favorite reads. They get excited when I change out the books and redecorate it too. Here are some of our favorite Holiday Books For Kids.

Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase. I’m always so thankful when you make purchases through links of my favorite things as it helps support our family.

There are so many cute winter and Christmas themed children’s books. I’ve created a list of some of our favorites that make great additions to your reading collection!

Below are links to all our favorite holiday books for kids to get cuddly in these cold winter months. You can check out the Project Whim Amazon Store to find all our families favorite books (not just the Winter/Christmas themed ones).

A few of our MUST HAVES

Snow Sisters: A cute book about 2 sisters and how 2 different personalities enjoy the Snow. Super cute if you have 2 girls that are totally different (like mine).

The Tree That’s Meant to Be: An adorable book with beautiful illustrations about a little tree that looks a little awkward and how it grows to be exactly who it is meant to be.

Pick A Pine Tree: Simple read and a cute story about the life of a pine tree, from tree farm to beautiful Christmas tree.

How Winston Delivered Christmas: ADORABLE Advent Calendar Book. You read a chapter each night in December and go on a journey to Christmas Day.

Tallulah’s Nutcracker: A cute story about a ballerina who dances for the first time in the Nutcracker as a mouse. She messes up on stage and gets encouragement from the other dancers. A great reminder that no one is perfect and to keep working towards your dreams.

Jesus Calling (The Story of Christmas), The Night Before Christmas, The Polar Express, The Nutcracker, and Santa Mouse: All Classics…need I say more.
