One morning I was enjoying my cup of coffee and going through my inbox when I noticed an E-mail. It was from my parents but it wasn’t addressed to me, it was sent to my girls. When I opened it I noticed it was an Evite Invitation for Cousin’s Camp. An overnight trip to Gigi and Poppy’s house with their cousin, Addi. Little did I know that Cousin Camp was going to be the most epic Sleepover Summer Camp ever made. And I’m just sitting here wondering how I can get invited to Cousin Camp next year. Here is what Cousin’s Camp looked like at Mama Whim’s House.

All the Fun Details of Cousin Camp
When we arrived there was a large sign hanging on their front gate that said “Welcome to Cousin Camp”. The girls started to scream as they approached the gate.
Disney Music played through the courtyard and the house as we ventured out to see what was set up in the backyard. There were balloons, a giant inflatable pool with a slide, bubble machines and the cutest little gift baskets you’ve ever seen. The girls instantly went nuts with excitement and promptly put on their swim suits.
The Gift Baskets
Each girl had a basket with their name on it. Inside were matching pink T-shirts that said “Cousin Camp”. Matching Bedtime shirts is such a fun way to celebrate the sleepover. Included in the baskets were Friendship Bracelets, Drip Free Popsicle Holders (these things are so cool), a sugar cookie in the shape of a beachball, Jelly Shoes and a cute pair of pom pom shorts.

Outdoor Fun in the Sun
The inflatable pool was a huge hit. It was large with a slide and sections that sprayed out water. The girls had a blast jumping in the big pool. They also had a bubble machine and a bucket of giant bubble solution. The girls could make bubbles the size of their heads (and bigger). Bubbles add WHIM to any outdoor get together.

Fairy Jar Craft
Craft time was making Glitter Fairy Jars. They took plastic mason jars, large glow sticks and glitter. You cut open the glow stick and pour the solution into the jar. Add glitter and shake. The girls had fun shaking the jars and making them sparkle all over.

S’mores and Star Gazing
Before bed they roasted marshmallows by the fire pit and made smores. Nothing tops off a magical day like S’mores. After they were done with the sugar rush they filled their empty inflatable pool with blankets and pillows. This made the perfect cuddle spot to watch for stars in the sky before they went to bed. Such a fun way to spend a Summer evening.

Picture Frame Craft
The next day they got to decorate their own picture frame. She bought wood picture frames that she spray painted Ombre. The girls got to decorate with glow-in-the-dark paint and fun stickers. After they finished their frames, they picked out a picture from their time at Cousin Camp to go inside. Such a fun keepsake to bring back home to remember their time at Gigi and Poppy’s house.

To say they had fun at Cousin Camp is an understatement. I’m so grateful to have a Mom that is so creative and fun with her grandkids. She thought of every single detail to make it a WHIMful expereince for the girls. They came home exausted and so excited to share all about the fun they had at Gigi and Poppy’s house. And for the parents…. we thouroughly enjoyed a night to ourselves (as you can see haha).
